The MongolZ oust FURIA to join MOUZ in IEM Beijing last four
The MongolZ won a 13-11 decider against FURIA to reach the IEM Beijing 2026 semi-finals, days after the Brazilians had eliminated FaZe to the lower bracket.

The MongolZ have beaten FURIA 13-11 on the deciding map to reach the semi-finals of IEM Beijing 2026, HLTV reported, joining MOUZ in the tournament's final four.
HLTV's coverage of the result was limited to the scoreline itself, with no further detail on the maps played or standout performers in the decider.
FURIA had arrived at IEM Beijing as PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 champions and opened the event in dominant fashion, beating FaZe 2-1 on day one, according to Dust2.us.
That opening series was the two teams' first meeting since April. Dust2.us reported that FURIA took a near-flawless CT-side on Ancient, leading 10-2 at the break, only for FaZe to win the next eleven rounds in a row to close out the map 13-11.
Jakub "jcobbb" Pietruszewski drove that turnaround, posting 17 kills, a +10.94% round swing and a 2.37 rating across the second half, per Dust2.us's figures.
FURIA responded by taking Dust2 13-5 after starting the map 7-0 on the T-side, before FaZe briefly narrowed the gap with five rounds at the end of the first half. The Brazilians then reeled off six consecutive rounds after the side switch to close it out.
On Cache, FaZe opened with the series' first pistol win but could not sustain it. FURIA converted the pistol round and took four more to lead 5-1, then closed the half 8-4 before finishing the map 13-4 with another five-round streak on the T-side.
Dust2.us credited FURIA's 5/6 record on pistol rounds, along with a strong showing from Yuri "yuurih" Boian, as the decisive factors in the 2-1 win over FaZe.
That result sent FaZe into the lower bracket, where Dust2.us reported they were scheduled to face Falcons, a tie framed around Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken meeting his former mentor, Finn "karrigan" Andersen.
FURIA's own run at IEM Beijing has now ended at the hands of The MongolZ, whose 13-11 decider win confirms their place in the semi-finals alongside MOUZ. No further details on the remaining semi-final bracket were included in HLTV's report.
