GamerLegion and Yellow Submarine fight for EPL Masters III grand final spot
GamerLegion take on Yellow Submarine in a lower-bracket decider on 5 November, with the winner facing an unbeaten Natus Vincere for the EPL Masters III title.

GamerLegion and Yellow Submarine meet in a best-of-three lower-bracket final on 5 November, with the winner advancing to face Natus Vincere in the EPL Masters III grand final, according to Esports.gg News.
Yellow Submarine reached this stage after losing to Natus Vincere in the upper-bracket final, dropping them into the lower bracket for a second chance at the title. GamerLegion took the longer route, having already been beaten once by Natus Vincere earlier in the lower bracket.
EPL Masters III sits at Tier 3 on the Dota 2 circuit, a level that rarely hosts the sport's biggest names but gives emerging rosters room to prove themselves, Esports.gg News reported. Yellow Submarine, HILUGANI, Natus Vincere and LEGION have all been cited as outlets for that kind of rising talent during this run.
GamerLegion arrive with recent form behind them. The North American side finished third at PARI Universe, beating Team Liquid, OG and 1w Team along the way, and have also featured in BLAST SLAM 8 and PGL Wallachia Season 9 since The International 15.
Yellow Submarine carry a different kind of pedigree. Operating under Team Spirit's management, the CIS side has built a reputation as a development pipeline for the region, having produced players such as Alan "Satanic" Gallyamov and Bohdan "Batyuk" Batiuk.
Natus Vincere have already booked their grand final place and done it without dropping a series anywhere in the bracket. Esports.gg News described the young NAVI roster, most of whom are in their early twenties, as having shown plenty of promise despite a disappointing showing at PARI Universe, pointing to runner-up finishes at PGL Wallachia Season 9 and BLAST SLAM 6 as evidence.
The playoff picture is otherwise settled. HILUGANI finished fourth, OG and CyberHero placed fifth to sixth, and LEGION and Nemiga Gaming rounded out the bracket in seventh to eighth.
The lower-bracket final between GamerLegion and Yellow Submarine is scheduled for 5 November at 3pm CEST, which lands at 2pm in the UK. The grand final, pitting Natus Vincere against whichever side emerges from that series, follows at 6.30pm CEST, or 5.30pm in the UK, and will be played as a best-of-five.
