Karmine Corp sweep CTBC Flying Oyster, end LCP's Worlds 2026 campaign
Karmine Corp beat CTBC Flying Oyster 2-0 in Round 4 of the Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage, eliminating the LCP's last side and setting up a decider for a quarter-final spot.

Karmine Corp swept CTBC Flying Oyster 2-0 in Round 4 of the Worlds 2026 Swiss Stage, ending the LCP region's involvement in the tournament, according to Esports Insider.
The result moves KC to 2-2 overall, leaving the French-based roster one best-of-three away from the Knockout Stage.
The tie began at 20:05 on Thursday 29 October and was done inside two games. Karmine Corp closed out the opener in 28 minutes before finishing the series in 37.
CFO held the higher seed heading into the match and so took first pick, which sent Karmine Corp to the blue side for game one. That opening game was lopsided: KC finished with 18 kills to CFO's three, a scoreline reported by GosuGamers.
The sweep snaps a two-match losing run for Karmine Corp. They had opened the Swiss Stage with a win over Anyone's Legend before dropping single games in Rounds 2 and 3. They now stand at three wins and two losses for the event.
For CTBC Flying Oyster, the defeat was their third in the five-round Swiss format, which eliminates any side that reaches three match losses. Their run began with a win over Team Liquid, followed by losses to Movistar KOI and T1 before the exit against Karmine Corp.
Before arriving at Worlds, CFO's most recent results had come in LCP Split 3 2026, where they beat MVK Esports 3-1 before losing 0-3 to Team Secret Whales.
Elo power rankings cited by Esports Insider place the two sides a long way apart: Karmine Corp sit 10th with a rating of 1796, while CFO rank 54th on 1638. The teams had previously met at the First Stand 2025 knockout stage on 15 March 2025, a tie Karmine Corp won 3-2.
Karmine Corp reached the Swiss Stage via the Play-In, which they opened on 15 October 2026 with a five-game win over Cloud9. They then beat MVK Esports 3-0 twice, first in the Upper Bracket Final and again in the Grand Final.
The roster carrying Karmine Corp through the event is Canna, Yike, Busio, Caliste and Kyeahoo.
A win in the final round sends a team through to the Knockout Stage on three match victories; a loss ends the campaign at three defeats. Karmine Corp's decider will be played in Allen, Texas, on Saturday, with the opponent still to be confirmed when Round 4 concluded.
Venues for the Knockout Stage alternate between Allen, Texas, and Brooklyn, New York, with the quarter-final ties scheduled from 3 to 6 November, starting at 10.00pm UK time given the current clock alignment with UTC.
The tournament carries a total prize pool of US$5 million, with US$1 million reserved for the champions. The final is scheduled for the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Saturday 14 November at 7.00pm UK time.
