PARIVISION down Liquid to reach Beijing playoffs
Jame's PARIVISION beat Liquid in IEM Beijing's second round, moving within one win of a direct semi-final berth after a 2-0 start to the event.

PARIVISION have beaten Liquid at IEM Beijing, a result that sends Jame's roster into the playoffs while ending Liquid's unbeaten run at the event, according to HLTV.
The win was PARIVISION's second straight series victory in Beijing, and it now leaves them playing for a direct spot in the semi-finals, HLTV reported.
Liquid had arrived at that match off the back of a dominant opening series win over Aurora, a team HLTV's Dust2.us described as a consistent playoffs contender.
Liquid swept Aurora 2-0 without dropping more than seven rounds across the two maps, according to Dust2.us.
Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa and Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski each finished the series with identical 1.81 ratings, with both riflers topping a 2.00 rating on their respective best maps.
Between them the pair posted a combined kill/death difference of 64/29 across the series, Dust2.us reported.
On the opening map, Inferno picked by Liquid, the North American side converted the first pistol into a 6-0 start before closing out a 13-3 win.
malbsMd was the standout performer on that map, finishing 18/8 with a round swing of plus-17.75% and a 2.56 rating, according to Dust2.us.
Aurora's own pick, Anubis, began with a rare pistol loss for Liquid, but they recovered to post another 9-3 start and eventually closed the map 13-4.
EliGE led that map with a 19/8 kill/death record, a round swing of plus-7.85%, and a 2.11 rating, Dust2.us reported.
That victory had been billed as the platform for a strong Beijing run, with Dust2.us framing it as the version of Liquid fans had long wanted to see.
Instead, the very next series proved decisive in the opposite direction, with PARIVISION's win over Liquid confirmed by HLTV as the result that advances Jame's side toward a direct semi-final placement.
Beijing's playoff picture now hinges on PARIVISION's next series, with a win guaranteeing them a direct route to the semi-finals rather than a route through the lower bracket.
