VALORANT Agent 31 leaks detail dual ultimates and ability theft before Shanghai reveal

Unconfirmed leaks suggest VALORANT's next Agent can copy a teammate's Signature ability, dash through walls and swap ultimates depending on attack or defence, ahead of a reveal at Champions 2026 Shanghai.

Unverified leaks circulating in the VALORANT community claim to detail the kit of the game's next Agent, widely referred to as Agent 31, according to Esports.gg News.

Riot Games has not confirmed any of the ability details. The publication stresses the information should be treated as unconfirmed until Riot's own reveal.

From official teasers, including a Space with muffled audio and partial visual glimpses, the community has inferred the new character is female and of Chinese or East Asian origin. Unofficial reports suggest she will be classed as a Duelist, a reading Esports.gg News says fits with the leaked abilities.

Riot is expected to unveil the Agent at the grand final of VALORANT Champions 2026 Shanghai, most likely during the showmatch, per the report.

The leaked kit's headline feature is a basic ability called Secondary Projection, which lets the Agent capture an imprint of an allied Signature ability by firing at a living teammate, or collect it from a fallen one using alt fire.

The copied ability can then be reactivated for use but cannot be retained once the round ends. Esports.gg News notes the community is split on whether the ability can be taken from living allies, fallen allies, or both.

The outlet speculates the stolen ability may carry a time limit before it fizzles out, drawing a comparison to League of Legends' Sylas, though this detail is not part of the confirmed leak text itself.

A separate basic ability, Range Trigger, has the Agent throw a pressurised cannon that rolls on impact before releasing a mist curtain. Agents passing through the mist become nearsighted, with their vision reduced, though it remains unclear whether the mist blocks sightlines outright.

The Signature ability, Loaded Roll, lets the Agent dash through a compatible wall and emerge on the other side before rolling in the direction of movement, a two-part dash the report likens to Jett's wall-piercing capability.

Her Ultimate changes depending on which side she is playing. As a Defender, Ground Rules fires a four-pointed star that creates a gravitational field pulling enemies toward its edge and slowing them, useful in post-plant scenarios or to stall a site take.

On Attack, the Omega Earth Ultimate, Starburst, launches a condensed star that creates an anti-gravitational field lifting enemies into the air before detonating and dealing damage to anyone caught in the blast. The leak does not specify whether the field restricts movement abilities such as dashes or teleports.

Esports.gg News attributes the ability details to a post from the account @Marpkat_ on X, with ability icon imagery credited to @GirlK1d/X.

VALORANT Champions 2026 Shanghai concludes on 18 October, after which further official details on the new Agent are expected.
