VALORANT Champions 2026: Americas dominate Top 4 as Pacific exits
LOUD, Team Vitality, G2 Esports and 100 Thieves reach the Champions 2026 semi-finals as every Pacific side falls away, with betting markets installing LOUD as narrow favourites.

VALORANT Champions 2026 has reached its final four, and the regional balance has tipped sharply towards the Americas. LOUD, G2 Esports and 100 Thieves all represent VCT Americas in the semi-finals, joined by Team Vitality as the only non-Americas side left standing. Pacific has been wiped out entirely, with Paper Rex, Nongshim RedForce and T1 all eliminated before the Top 4 stage.
The bracket now splits into two ties on 16 October: Vitality face LOUD in the Upper Bracket Final, while G2 meet 100 Thieves in the Lower Bracket Semi-Final. Whichever side wins the upper tie goes straight through to the Grand Final on 18 October; the loser drops into a best-of-five Lower Bracket Final on 17 October against the winner of the G2–100 Thieves match.
LOUD's route to that upper final came through a 2-0 win over defending champions NRG, sealed with a 13-3 scoreline on the deciding map. That result ends NRG's title defence and, as Insider Gaming's bracket coverage noted via Esports.net, puts a side many had not expected to reach this stage one win from the final.
G2 and 100 Thieves arrive at their rematch with history already between them: G2 won the pair's first meeting 2-0 in the opening upper-bracket round. Since then 100 Thieves swept Nongshim RedForce and eliminated NRG, while G2 needed three maps to get past T1, making the head-to-head record less decisive than it looks on paper.
Pacific's exit traces back through that same bracket. Paper Rex, Nongshim RedForce and T1 were all sent to the lower bracket in the opening round, and T1 was the only one of the three to survive its next match, beating Paper Rex to advance. G2 then eliminated T1, closing out the region's involvement in the tournament.
Esports.net reported that Insider Gaming's assessment of the playoff run raises questions about Pacific's tactical depth and in-game adjustments relative to its opponents — framed by that outlet as its own reading of the results rather than a settled explanation for every series loss.
Betting markets reflect the Americas tilt. Polymarket odds cited by Esports.gg News put LOUD as title favourites at 37%, with Vitality at 27%, 100 Thieves at 26% and G2 at 10%. The outlet flagged that volume across the four markets totalled only $42,278 as of 12 October, with 100 Thieves accounting for roughly 45% of that figure, meaning the prices could move quickly before the tournament concludes.
The Vitality–LOUD tie itself is priced close to even across sportsbooks tracked by Esports.gg News: Stake and 1xbet both have the pair at matching odds of 1.85 and 1.86 respectively, while gg.bet leans toward LOUD at 1.74 against Vitality's 2.00. That parity sits awkwardly against the fact that Vitality swept LOUD 2-0 when the two met in the group stage on 30 September.
100 Thieves are clearer favourites in the lower-bracket semi-final, priced at 1.50 on Stake, 1.57 on gg.bet and 1.574 on 1xbet, with G2 ranging between 2.26 and 2.40. Esports.gg News pointed out that the longer road through the bracket helps explain why 100 Thieves sit at only 26% in the overall title market despite being favoured in this individual tie.
Play resumes on 16 October with both semi-final ties, the Lower Bracket Final follows on 17 October, and the Grand Final is set for 18 October 2026. The odds reported here were taken on 12 October and remain subject to change before the bracket concludes.
