Esport MeVCT 2027 confirmed: Seoul and Valencia host Masters, Austin stages Champions
Riot Games has mapped out the full VALORANT Champions Tour 2027 calendar, introducing a new VCT Cup format alongside Masters legs in Seoul and Valencia before Champions lands in Austin, Texas.
VALORANT Champions Tour has confirmed all 15 host cities for its 2027 season, adding a new tournament tier called the VCT Cup to the calendar alongside the established Kickoff, Masters and Champions events, according to Esports.gg News.
The first Masters of the year will run in Seoul, South Korea, from 20 February to 3 March 2027. Seoul previously staged the 2024 Champions and the 2025 Game Changers Championship, and remains the home base of the VCT Pacific league.
A second Masters follows in València, Spain, from 5 to 20 June 2027. It is the VCT's first event in the city, though Spain has hosted the tour before through the 2024 Madrid Masters and this year's EMEA Stage 2 finale in Badalona.
The season concludes with VALORANT Champions 2027 and the Game Changers Championship in Austin, Texas, from 16 September to 10 October. It marks the first VCT event held in Texas and the first Champions on US soil since the 2023 edition in California.
Before the international events, regional Kickoff tournaments run from 14 January to 7 February in São Paulo, Berlin, Bangkok and Hangzhou. Esports.gg News reports these Kickoffs determine which teams from the Open circuit can progress toward Masters Seoul.
The newly introduced VCT Cup 1 then takes place from 29 April to 23 May across Mexico City, Warsaw, Manila and Wuhan, feeding results into Masters València.
A second Cup, VCT Cup 2, follows later in the year in Rio de Janeiro, Istanbul, Tokyo and Shanghai, continuing the regional structure established by the first Cup.
Breaking the calendar down by region, the Americas circuit runs São Paulo for Kickoff, Mexico City for Cup 1 and Rio de Janeiro for Cup 2. EMEA follows the same pattern through Berlin, Warsaw and Istanbul, while Pacific hosts Bangkok, Manila and Tokyo. The China region completes the set with Hangzhou, Wuhan and Shanghai.
Alongside the franchised schedule, Riot Games says Open Qualifiers will run in every region, giving amateur rosters additional routes into the VCT pyramid. The publisher states that more than 50 tournaments are scheduled across the year in total.
With the venue map now set, the 2027 season opens with the four regional Kickoffs in January before the competitive ladder builds toward Masters Seoul in February.
