Luka 'Perkz' Perković has deleted his X account entirely, days after G2 Esports terminated his position as head coach over a personal statement that triggered widespread backlash, according to Dexerto Esports.

G2 confirmed the split on 5 November, just hours after the 27-year-old former League of Legends player published a 2,676-word post on X the previous day, which he described as his "first and last honest post" in a decade.

The statement covered his religious beliefs and his views on abortion and politics, and it also touched on his relationship with former G2 CEO Carlos 'ocelote' Rodríguez.

On abortion, Perkz wrote: "I cannot comprehend how people do not understand that is a murder, as life is created at conception," adding, "That is one view I will die by and never change."

He also used the post to deny supporting Andrew and Tristan Tate, to defend his past loyalty to Rodríguez, and to reject any suggestion that he backed Russian President Vladimir Putin, per Dexerto.

The reaction on social media was swift, and G2 moved to end its relationship with him soon after.

G2 CEO Alban Dechelotte addressed the decision directly, saying: "While the world is complex and not everyone agrees on everything, some of the statements made last night do not align with G2's stance and values."

Dechelotte added: "We acknowledge that this statement hurt many of our fans, and we want to apologize for it."

After his dismissal, Perkz posted a Bible verse from Luke 6:22 on X, which begins: "Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company."

By 6 November his entire X account, including the original statement and that follow-up post, had been removed from the platform.

His Instagram account remains active, as do his Twitch and YouTube channels, but he has not issued any further public comment on his exit from G2 or on deleting his X presence.

G2 has said its focus now shifts to assembling a new coaching staff and roster before the next competitive season starts, with more announcements due once the free agency period formally begins.
