TYLOO's Lisbon forfeit guts Singapore Major hopes as 100 Thieves fight on
TYLOO's walkout from a HyperX Retake quarter-final to prioritise IEM Beijing has collapsed their projected PGL Major Singapore invite, while 100 Thieves keep their own route alive in Buenos Aires.

TYLOO's projected chance of reaching the PGL Major Singapore has fallen from 68% to 17% after the side forfeited a HyperX Retake Season 13 quarter-final rather than miss IEM Beijing, according to HLTV's invite prediction cited by Esports.net News.
The forfeit came in a best-of-three against Metizport in Lisbon on 31 October. Metizport advanced on a 1-0 scoreline without playing a map.
HyperX Retake organisers said the cause was a direct scheduling clash: both TYLOO and Natus Vincere are booked to play IEM Beijing, and NAVI withdrew from its own best-of-three against WhiteBIT Academy on the same day.
HyperX RETAKE confirmed the double withdrawal on social media, stating: "NAVI & TYLOO have decided to forfeit their upcoming matches due to scheduling conflicts." The organisers added that both teams' opponents would advance directly to the semi-finals.
TYLOO had entered the tie ranked No. 32 on HLTV and No. 59 in the Valve Regional Standings. NAVI's own projected invite odds are unaffected by its withdrawal.
The timing leaves almost no room to recover. The Valve Regional Standings cutoff falls on 2 November, the shortest gap ever recorded between a cutoff and the start of a Major; previous cutoffs have landed roughly two months out from the event.
The Singapore Major carries a $1,250,000 prize pool across 32 teams, with Stage 1 scheduled for 24 to 27 November. Esports.net News reports the forfeit likely settles Asia's invite picture, with BC.Game, The MongolZ, FlyQuest, Chinggis Warriors and Lynn Vision now expected to fill the region's places.
IEM Beijing, the tournament TYLOO prioritised, runs from 2 to 8 November at the Bloomage Biotech Biohyalux ECM Arena and also carries a $1,250,000 prize pool across 16 teams. TYLOO were drawn into Group B, opening against MOUZ.
While Asia's invite race appears all but decided, the chase for places via the Last Chance circuit continues elsewhere. 100 Thieves beat Isurus at FiReSPORTS LAST CHANCE in Buenos Aires to stay alive in their bid for a Singapore Major spot, according to Dust2.us.
100 Thieves took Nuke 13-1 against the No. 161-ranked Isurus, winning the first eleven rounds of the map outright. Isurus hit back on Dust2 to lead 10-7 after the side switch, but 100 Thieves closed out the map 13-11 to eliminate their opponents from the event.
Nicolai "device" Reedtz posted 37 kills, a +6.84% round swing and a 1.57 rating across the series, per Dust2.us's match report.
100 Thieves now face BESTIA, with the European side needing to win the event outright to claim a Singapore Major berth. A separate tie between HOTU and 1w is also being watched, with a HOTU win set to decide the final European qualification spot.
